The objective of screening from viewing in the Heritage Agency of Denmark is to add a layer of motifs from the Agency’s own ‘treasury’, which can act both as a screening against looking through into glass offices, as embellishment and visual rhythm in the common passage area and helps to create a graphic identity for the Agency’s various subject areas.
The motifs have been chosen by members of staff.
Technically, the motifs are serigraphed on both sides of the glass. We have endeavoured to underline the materiality of the glass itself, and tried to create several layers of motifs, which contribute to creating a textural effect, on the smooth material.
