We base our work on the development of aesthetics, technique and new methods in order to add a layer of sensuousness to modern building. By giving equal status to concrete patterns as for example ornamentation, in relation to an aesthetic, cultural or temporal reference as well as human action patterns, we wish to challenge existing transitions between people and rooms.

We often try to encompass artistic treatment of surfaces in an industrial and digital production. In this sphere between art ware, architecture and industrial production new vistas open up for the mediation and communication of design and art ware and place these elements within new contexts.

Our experience of the meeting between people and rooms has taught us that by adding to the room a layer of tactility or patterns – which might be in the form of an expressive detailing or a textural effect – it is possible to create a frame where people will be challenged – give them a new experience of a room.
