trane exhibition (gentofte art library)

Løvetand/Dandelion, 4. August – 1. September 2001.

The exhibition consists of 3 printed lengths (1,5 x 4 m.) white woollen cloth with grey print. The motifs are shadows of flowers tossed onto the expanse – patterns, rhythm and stripes. Large compositions that interpret the compositions of the room and add another textural effect. The shadows are without colour.

The colours and the tactile surface are contained in three Rya rugs in wool. Here the cross section and finishing treatment of the material (fulling/felting) make up the expanse. The colours are concentrated and contained in the material – in a relief.
